Rush Ticket Policy
Rush tickets are available for some productions. Soulpepper rush tickets are available to purchase at the Young Centre Box Office, 60 minutes prior to the performance. Subject to availability.
George Brown same day rush tickets are available in person at the Young Centre Box Office when it opens at 1pm on the day of the performance.
Group discounts are available for some productions with a group of 12 or more. Please call the Box Office at 416.866.8666 for details.
Please pick up your tickets at least 30 minutes prior to your performance, to give ample time to find parking, check your coat, and enjoy a beverage or snack in the Young Centre Atrium.
You will be required to provide proof of student or senior eligibility when you pick up your tickets. Not all productions offer discounts at these levels.
Latecomers will not be seated until there is a suitable break in the program and, for some performances, may not be admitted.
Recording & Electronic Devices
The use of cameras, video cameras or sound-recording devices of any kind is prohibited. Any person using an unauthorized recording device will be required to surrender or erase any recordings, photographic or digital images and may be asked to leave. No refunds will be issued.
As a courtesy to performers and other patrons, please set pagers, cellular phones and PDAs to silent. If a patron has an emergency and must be contacted during a performance, he or she should contact Patron Services for assistance before the performance.
All patrons attending events at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts are welcome with the utmost trust and respect by all staff and volunteers. It is expected, therefore, that the same respect be given to the people working at the Young Centre. Management does reserve the right to expel from the premises any person whose conduct it deems objectionable.
The Young Centre for the Performing Arts seeks to continually provide a welcoming and comfortable environment which ensures trust and respect for all patrons, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
Patrons attending events at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts are expected to treat our employees, volunteers and other visitors with the utmost respect and dignity. Discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, colour, national origin, religion, creed, gender identity, age, physical, mental or developmental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, political ideology or any other reason, will not be tolerated.
Visitors who demonstrate violent language and/or behavior towards fellow visitors, staff or volunteers will be asked to leave. The Young Centre reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who has violated these conditions during previous visits.
Children Attending Shows at the Young Centre
The musical PETER PAN, is deemed appropriate for ages 3 and up.
TWEET TWEET is recomended for ages 0-6.
All other shows currently being presented at the Young Centre contain mature subject matter, viewer discretion is advised.
Please note that children under the age of 15 will not be admitted into the hall without an adult in attendance.
